Which marketplaces does JDMarket watch?+
Every watch picks its marketplace: Facebook Marketplace everywhere JDMarket operates, plus Craigslist and OfferUp in the US, Kijiji in Canada, and Gumtree in the UK — all included on every app plan. Craigslist and OfferUp are US-only, Kijiji is Canada-only, and Gumtree is UK-only (not Australia), gated by your account country. The Desktop plan watches Facebook Marketplace only.
Do I need to keep a computer running?+
Only on the Desktop plan, where a small app runs in your tray and searches from your own machine. On the app plans there's nothing to install at all — we do the searching for you 24/7, even when every device you own is off.
What's the difference between Desktop and the app plans?+
Same watches, AI filtering, and Telegram alerts — they differ in where the searching runs and in marketplace coverage: the app plans also watch Craigslist & OfferUp (US), Kijiji (Canada) or Gumtree (UK) alongside Facebook, while Desktop watches Facebook only. Desktop ($29.99/mo) runs on your computer with 10 watches and instant alerts the moment a listing goes live. How fast are the Telegram alerts?+
Once JDMarket detects a listing that matches your Watch and AI filter, the Telegram alert is sent instantly — the moment a listing goes live, usually within about a second of detection.
Do I need to build a special search?+
No. On the app plans you just type what you want — 'iPhone 13 under $500' — and add filters. You can also paste any Facebook Marketplace search URL you already use, on any plan.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes — the Basic cloud plan ($30/mo) and the Desktop plan both start with a 3-day free trial: add your card through Stripe checkout, pay nothing for 3 days, and the subscription starts automatically on day 3 unless you cancel — cancel in time and your card is never charged. The Pro and Premium cloud tiers are card-upfront with no trial.
Is my data private?+
On Desktop, the agent runs on your own machine and your session stays local. On the app plans, searches run anonymously — we never ask for your Facebook login. Billing is handled by Stripe on the web, or by the App Store or Google Play if you subscribe in the app; we never see your card.
Is there a mobile app?+
Yes — the iPhone and Android apps are both live (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the US). Sign up on the web to start your free trial, then download from the App Store or Google Play to log in. Your matches also arrive on Telegram. Same account, same watches, same alerts.
