Create or confirm your account
Make sure you can sign in before the install starts.
- If the confirmation email is still pending, open it first.
- Then sign in to JDMarket so the agent can connect to the correct account.

Install the JDMarket agent and get your first watch running.
A step-by-step walkthrough for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Pick your platform below — every step stays the same, only the install details change.

Download and install the desktop agent
Use the computer that will stay on while your watches run.
- Download the .exe installer from the link below.
- Open the installer and finish the normal Windows install flow.
- When install finishes, the JDMarket tray app launches automatically.
- Download the signed .dmg from the link below.
- Open the disk image and drag JDMarket Agent into Applications.
- On first launch, macOS may ask you to Allow the app in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- The agent lives in your menu bar (top-right), next to battery and Wi-Fi.
- Ubuntu / Debian: download the .deb and install with
sudo apt install ./jdmarket-agent_*.deb(or double-click it). - Other distros: download the .tar.gz, extract it, and run the bundled launcher.
- Launch JDMarket Agent from your app menu. A JD icon appears in the system tray.
- GNOME users may need the AppIndicator extension to see the tray icon.

Open the app and sign in
This links the installed agent to the right JDMarket account.
- Sign in with the same email and password used on the website.
- Wait for the app to finish connecting to the JDMarket server.
- If Windows asks about background permissions, allow the app to keep running.If macOS asks to allow notifications or background activity, say yes so alerts still work when the window is closed.Most Linux desktops will let the agent keep running in the background automatically.

Finish Facebook setup inside the agent
The agent needs a valid Facebook session before watches can actually run.
- Complete the Facebook login step from inside the agent.
- Let the app finish its setup checks.
- Leave JDMarket running in the bottom-right Windows tray.Leave JDMarket running in the macOS menu bar (top-right).Leave JDMarket running in the Linux system tray.

Create the first watch from the dashboard
Once the agent is online, the user can finally save a Facebook Marketplace watch.
- Paste the Facebook Marketplace URL into Search & Watch.
- Choose the timing and alert settings.
- Save the watch and keep the agent running.
